Faith and Family
Families and children are an important part of our faith community. Our programs for children and youth aim to incorporate young people into the activities of the entire church while providing unique and enriching experiences for the needs of different age groups.
● Sunday School starts at 9:15 in the Sanctuary. (Beginning Sept. 8, Sunday School will begin in the Sanctuary at 10:15 am.) After participating in the intergenerational “first message” of Worship Service, children (parents are welcome too!) then head to the classrooms with their teachers for meaningful and fun engagement with the spiritual themes of the day. ● Childcare for infants and toddlers is available in the Nursery every Sunday from 9:00 to 10:30 am. (Beginning September 8, 2019, the Nursery will be available from 9:45 to 11:15 am.) Age-appropriate games, lessons, and activities are offered during this time.
● Youth Group meets once a month and for periodic events centered on fun or social-justice activities. Young people are empowered to participate in the full life of the church by participating in Worship Service, helping with Sunday School, and attending special church events and educational opportunities.
