Communion and Contemplation

Second and Fourth Sundays at 8:30 am in the Chapel.

This 30-minute service provides some reflective music, prayer, silence, and a spiritual practice contemplating the Scriptures and themes, and then closing with receiving communion by coming forward to receive elements.

Taizé-Inspired Worship

Taizé services are held the second Thursday of each month from 6:30 pm to 7:15 pm in the Sanctuary.

Taizé is a contemplative experience practiced by the Ecumenical Community in Taizé Burgundy, France. However, our service is an adaptation of the traditional Taizé, maintaining core aspects while adapting it for our context.

If you are new to our service, here’s what to expect:

The service will alternate prayers, readings, chants and meditative silences.

Silences lasting about three to eight minutes.

Because our community values diverse voices, our readings are longer than some traditional Taizé services.

A period of quiet music and meditation begins about 10 minutes before the service. When the music begins, please observe silence.
